MCPS asked to have this thrown out. Instead, an independent Administrative Law Judge at the Maryland Office of Administrative Hearings dismissed that motion and set a three-day evidentiary hearing for December 8, 9 and 10. Discovery is underway right now — documents, data, methodologies, and sworn testimony — and it is the most resource-intensive phase yet. A suggested donation is $150; gifts of $250, $500, and $1,000 directly expand what our legal team can pursue. More than 500 people have already given.
Demand Oversight
Contact the County Council, State Board of Education, Inspector General, and your state legislators. Demand real oversight of MCPS — do not let this flawed decision go unchallenged. MCPS controls over half of the county budget and must be held accountable.
